I placed two bets on Andrew Luck season prop futures (to win MVP and to have most passing yards) on 8/16/2019. However, on 8/24/2019 Andrew Luck announces retirement. I assumed these bets would be graded as no-action and thus voided/cancelled, similar to that of 5Dimes or any other reputable offshore sportsbook or any casino in Las Vegas, but to my surprise Bodog is opting to screw me.
Bodog claims it is “action” and it’s in their rules, but I cannot find it on their season props page, my betting slips, or in their rules as they claimed. I even looked at the link they gave me and it does not say this. Of course I have exchanged countless emails with Bodog customer service agents and no luck. I’ve already spoken to agents on the phone but they claimed their “Sportsbook Manager or Sports Team do not speak to players.” At no time during my email or phone conversations was I provided a Sportsbook or Supervisor’s name, number or email – which I specifically requested.
Is it right for Bodog to steal my money?
I just want my bets to void/cancel since Andrew Luck will not be playing as he is officially retired. These bets should be considered no action. Below is my proof and conversation with Bodog. Unfortunately I cannot provide proofs of my phone conversation, so I can only screen-shot my email conversation with various agents.
My Bet Slips
Instead of cancelling these bets, Bodog wants to wait to settle it at end of season, likely to grade it as a loser.

Another Bodog service rep claims “all future wagers have action” and sends me a link but when I click on their website I do not see this terms at all.
The link goes to: https://www.bodog.eu/help/sports-faq/futures which doesn’t have any rules related to my bet. I checked Bodog’s Help section and Terms of Service and it does NOT mention a player futures prop bet being action.
Even worse, as of 8/27/2019 Bodog listed odds for NFL MVP and Most Passing Yards, but do not show any rules like “action” on their betting screen. Of course these odds are now updated and Andrew Luck’s name has been removed from the option… So I literally have a bet on a player that will not play, and Bodog isn’t even booking this action with Andrew Luck’s name as one of the participant anymore.
