1.) Sixers knocking down their free throws.
Philly stole one in Toronto in Game 2, 94-89, the first time the team won up north since 2012. One way they did it is by making their free throws, making 24 out of 26 from there.
2.) Raptors still played D.
Even with the loss, it was the fifth consecutive time that the Raptors held their opponents under 100 points and 42% shooting. Only 11 other teams have done that in the playoffs over the last 35 years while EIGHT of them went to the Finals. THREE won the championship.
3.) If you’re Denver, just give the ball to Nikola Jokic.
To expand on a point @Adam_Mares raised on @lockedonnuggets 4.28 ep:
At 118 touches/game, Nikola Jokic has by FAR the most among all playoff players.
He also has the fewest turnovers among the top 35 w/ most touches.
Also: Jamal Murray is 8th in touches, 9th in Tov/Touch %.? pic.twitter.com/sSk6IPzbxB— Joel Rush (@JoelRushNBA) April 29, 2019
4.) Kawhi and Steph.
Kawhi Leonard’s career playoff TS% is higher than Steph Curry’s.
5.) Harden and Westbrook
The Beard and Brodie practically have the same shooting percentage: 36% from the field and 32% from three in the 2019 Playoffs.
Bonus: Damian Lillard shot 7/8 from 30 feet out in the first round series vs OKC.
