Here are the best DFS basketball options for a six-game March 1 game day.
March 1, 2016– Best DFS Basketball Value Picks
The Studs
Damian Lillard, PG ($9,600)
Anyone with a brain would be tempted to pick Stephen Curry, who is averaging like a hundred points lately. However, the reigning MVP is doubtful for the Atlanta game. If you want to pay for another high quality point guard, there is no better option than Lillard here. Dame’s least productive outing for the past 10 games is a 40-FP output against Chicago. Yeah, that’s already a bad night for him.
Brook Lopez, C ($7,500)
Lopez is one of the main beneficiaries of Joe Johnson’s departure. He has averaged 44.7 points in his last six games and will face a Lakers defense that has no idea how to stop people. Expect a 40-FP night for Brook.
The Middle Men
Mirza Teletovic, SF ($5,600)
Teletovic is kind of Phoenix’s go-to-guy lately, tallying double-digit scoring in each of his last nine games, including a 30-point, 11-rebound outburst versus Brooklyn. It’s highly unlikely that he’ll register the same numbers but with T.J. Warren out, he will see his minutes at the high-20’s and low-30’s.
Kobe Bryant, SG ($5,700)
The Los Angeles Lakers say Bryant could play in this back-to-back set so if he does, be sure to put him in the line-up against Brooklyn. He has a very modest salary but still has a high usage rate making him a must-add in Daily Fantasy play.
The Bargains
Doug McDermott, SF ($4,300)
Chicago has been riding Dougie McBuckets’ hot hand lately and to be honest, why shouldn’t we? McDermott has gone for 26 FP in his past five games and with several wing players still out for the Bulls, it’s likely he will continue to produce at that rate.
Bojan Bogdanovic, SG ($4,200)
Bogdanovic has essentially replaced JJ in the Nets’ starting line-up and with that alone, he should be among the must-adds in any fantasy league. Bogdanovic dropped 19 and 6 against the Clippers, making a couple of three in 36 minutes of PT. The latter is especially encouraging to me.
