Kevin Durant, SF, GSW, $10,000
If Durant can calm down and not get thrown out of tonight’s game, then I love his value at $10K. With Steph Curry out the next two weeks with an ankle injury, look for KD to absorb a lot of Curry’s stats and shots. He’s had some ankle issues of his own recently, but he gets a nice matchup with the Hornets tonight.
Kyrie Irving, PG, BOS, $8,900
“The Mask” has been heating up as of late, and hopefully Jayson Tatum’s improved shooting will help him keep his assist numbers rising. On Monday, Irving scored 32 points (13-24 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), grabbed four rebounds, two steals, and one assist in 34 minutes. He’s scored over 40 FP (Fantasy Points) in 2 of his last three games, and I think he’ll take advantage of rookie Dennis Smith Jr. tonight.
Justin Holiday, SG, CHI, $5,900
Holiday had one of his best games of the season on Monday dropping 16 points, 2 assists and a steal. His shooting % isn’t going to wow anyone, but he’s getting a ton of volume including 14 shots on Monday including 8 3-pointers. Quite simply, Holiday gives you a high ceiling since the Bulls have nowhere else to turn for offensive production until Zach Lavine comes back.
DeAndre Jordan, C, LAC, $7,600
Jordan is quietly having a solid fantasy season averaging 10.4 ppg, 13.9 rpg, while adding 1.1 blocks per game. He’s scored 35 and 39 FP in his last two games. With Blake Griffin out, expect Jordan to continue grabbing monster rebound numbers.
