Kyrie Irving, PG, BOS ($7,900)
Irving will want to hit the ground running to begin the second half for the Celtics. They get Detroit tonight at 7:00pm, and the Pistons no longer have Avery Bradley to help pester him. Also, the presence of Drummond and Griffin down low could mean more outside shots for Irving and company.
Nikola Jokic, C, DEN ($9,700)
As usual, the center pool doesn’t have much to choose from, but there’s a case to be made you should reach for Jokic despite his high salary. He finished the first half of the season hot, including a MONSTER game on Feb. 15th when he had 30 points (11-14 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 17 assists, 15 rebounds, two blocks and one steal. He surpassed his FPPG average in his last 3 games and he can abuse Pau Gasol tonight when they play the Spurs.
Kyle Kuzma, PF, LAL ($6,500)
Kuzma played well in the rising stars game during the All-Star break. He gets the lowly Mavs tonight who are a mess on and off the court. He’s only had one game of single-digit points in his last 6 games and is becoming one of the more consistent fantasy scorers among rookies.
Lou Williams, SG, LAC
Williams continues to get a ton of minutes and throw up a lot of shots. At just $7,000 you’re going to get a lot of value here. He’s currently shooting 16 FGA per game and the Clips play the Suns tonight, who are not good defensively.
