Dallas Mavericks injury report

4 players on the current report.

Dereck Lively IIDay-To-Day
DAL · Foot · 2026-10-21
Lively, who is recovering from foot surgery he underwent back in December, will wind up missing all four of Dallas' preseason games. Given that there hasn't been any reporting of Lively ramping up his workload, it seems there's a real chance he won't be ready for the start of the 2026-27 season.
Jett HowardDay-To-Day
DAL · Illness · 2026-10-21
Howard will miss another preseason contest due to an illness. However, he should be ready to go for Opening Night against the Rockets, barring a setback.
Santi AldamaDay-To-Day
DAL · Knee · 2026-10-21
Aldama underwent right knee surgery in March and is in jeopardy of missing time to begin the regular season. He can be considered highly questionable for Wednesday's contest until further notice. If the 25-year-old is ultimately ruled out, Morez Johnson and Caleb Martin could see increased burn.
Tarik BiberovicDay-To-Day
DAL · Undisclosed · 2026-10-21
Biberovic will skip the Mavs' preseason finale, and it's unclear if he'll be ready when the regular season tips for Dallas on Wednesday in Houston. Biberovic will provide some emergency depth to the Mavs' frontcourt, but he's not expected to have a significant role in Dallas.
